Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 June 2026
These terms govern your use of the website oddconv.com and its tools ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
OddConv provides free, browser-based file conversion and utility tools. All processing happens locally in your browser; we do not receive or store your files. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- Use it to process content you do not have the right to process, or that is illegal;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Misrepresent the Service as your own or remove attribution where required.
Because tools run entirely on your device, you are solely responsible for the files you process and the results you produce.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the output will meet your requirements. Always keep a backup of your original files.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OddConv and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or files, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Since processing happens on your own device, you assume all risk associated with the files you handle.
5. Intellectual property
The OddConv name, design, and original site code are owned by us. The tools rely on open-source libraries that remain under their respective licenses. You retain all rights to the files you process — we claim no ownership of your content, and never see it.
6. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove tools and features, or modify or discontinue the Service, at any time and without notice. We may also update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
7. Third-party services
The Service is delivered through Cloudflare and uses open-source software. Your use of those underlying components may also be subject to their respective terms and licenses.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
